I want to share with you how grateful I am to have finished a successful Summit this year. It was more than I could have wished for. It was the first time that the entire event was done virtually, and it was wonderful!
It was a fabulous event, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, especially my crew, who helped put it all together.
One of the things that I did for this year’s Summit was the Silver Bracelet Awards. I wear silver bracelets, and every one of them has a special significance for me. They represent things like power and strength and act as reminders of who I am and what I’m capable of.
This year, I awarded 12 bracelets to members of Interior Design Business Academy who broke through the $10k fee ceiling. Some of them even reached this level multiple times! They shifted their mindsets and had the courage to go out and make offers that were way beyond what they thought was within their reach. The significance of this is especially important given how COVID-19 has impacted businesses, and, most importantly, their clients said yes!
In case you missed it, last week’s post included a sneak-peek into Summit. It also included a few interviews of designers that covered where they started, what’s happened along the way, and how they shifted their mindset to transform their business and life. They are amazing stories, so make sure you check out that whole session here.
