This holiday season, it’s really easy to practice gratitude. We’re prompted to say thank you, what we’re grateful for, and appreciate all the yummy things in our lives, family, friends, and everything that comes in this time of year.
But I think there’s a deeper way to look at it. For me, gratitude is the difference between living a life of privilege versus a life of entitlement. Doing so demands that gratitude runs through our lives all the time. That way we can really pull it in and sink into all the incredible pieces that make up our lives. Practice living in that piece of gratitude rather than just saying it every now and then.
I found a lovely quote from Brené Brown that I want to share with you because it puts this concept in a frame.
“I believe a joyful life is made up of joyful moments, gracefully strung together by trust, gratitude, inspiration, and faith.”
Have a Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
